Vistour Travel App
Simplifying the travel industry by bringing on-the-go tour guides to users' phones and removing the hassle of booking a tour.

Introduction
Traveling can provide a variety of fun and fulfilling experiences, from immersing yourself in a new culture to seeing and exploring new areas.
Challenge
Traveling can be stressful and daunting due to language barriers, communication difficulties, and scheduling conflicts. Travelers often depend on unfamiliar tour guides and service providers, leading to potential trust, safety, and overall experience quality issues. To enhance the travel experience and reduce stress, we must develop solutions that address these challenges by improving communication, bridging language gaps, and fostering greater trust and safety within the travel industry.
Solution
To address the challenges of language barriers, communication difficulties, and trust issues in travel, we propose developing a virtual tour guide app. This app will allow travelers to set their own destinations and customize their travel experience. The app will enhance traveler confidence, safety, and overall satisfaction by offering real-time language translation, seamless communication tools, and reliable, vetted information about destinations.

"We use mainly WhatsApp because sometimes people work from different parts of the world."
Ideation & Sketches
During the ideation phase, we brainstormed various features to enhance the travel experience through a virtual tour guide app. We envisioned an app that allows users to browse and select preset tour destinations, customize their itineraries, and receive real-time navigation. Initial sketches highlighted key screens, including a destination browser, a customizable itinerary set up, and an interactive map with integrated historical facts and detailed explanations. These sketches helped us refine the user flow and design, ensuring that the app would be intuitive and informative, enhancing the overall travel experience.
User Flow
The app lets users browse and select preset tour destinations, customize their itinerary, and navigate in real-time. As they explore, it provides detailed explanations and historical facts about landmarks, enriching their travel experience.
Wireframes
In the wireframing stage, we tested our initial designs with five users to gather feedback on the app’s usability and functionality. This testing helped us identify areas for improvement and validate the user flow, ensuring that key features like destination browsing, itinerary customization, and navigation were intuitive and effective. The insights gained from these tests were crucial for refining the wireframes and enhancing the overall user experience before moving into the development phase.
Final Designs
In the final design phase, we incorporated feedback from user testing, which highlighted that vertical scrolling was causing confusion. To address this issue, we redesigned the app by using separate pages and screens for distinct functions, such as browsing destinations, setting itineraries, and viewing navigation. This change aimed to simplify navigation and improve user clarity by clearly differentiating between different app sections. The iterations ensured that each function was easily accessible and user-friendly, enhancing the overall navigation experience and addressing the concerns raised during testing.
Key Takeaways
Building on our analysis of existing project management tools,we made a simple way for people to start using our platform. Even though project tools have lots of features, we wanted to make it easy for our users. Our goal is to make sure people find our platform easy to use, fitting well with the needs of those in the fashion design world.
